Redefine provides the technical capabilities to build and maintain websites. With our skills and knowledge we work alongside our clients and the other agencies involved to produce quality products.

Our technical abilities cover the skills required in creating web pages (XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, XSLT) through to programming on the web server (ASP.NET, C#, PHP) and on into the database (SQL Server, MySQL).

Our core expertise is in the coding involved in producing web pages - creating templates to be used in a wide range of systems, working to web standards (e.g. XHTML 1.0 Strict, CSS 2.1 and DOM-compliant JavaScript), creating accessible websites (conforming to the W3C Double-A standard) and providing the last layer of programming on the server.

As well as producing bespoke systems we work with a number of systems, both proprietary and open-source applications. In particular we have experience of building websites using Wordpress (for blogs), OpenACS (for community systems such as VOICE) & Zen Cart (for e-commerce sites).

We also provide a range of additional services - user acceptance testing, accessibility advice and consultancy.
